Anker’s Work is a coin-sized AI voice recorder built specifically for meetings, calls, and note-taking, rather than general dictation. Clip it on or set it on the table, and it records, transcribes, and summarizes conversations automatically.
AI Transcription and Summaries
Rather than just handing you a raw audio file, Work uses AI to transcribe conversations and generate structured summaries and action items, aiming to replace manual note-taking in meetings entirely. It’s built to recognize and separate multiple speakers, so the transcript reflects who said what.
Design and Portability
True to the “coin-sized” branding, it’s small enough to clip to a lanyard, jacket, or bag, making it genuinely easy to carry into every meeting or call without a bulky separate device.
The Honest Trade-Off
AI transcription and speaker separation are impressive but not perfect, especially in loud rooms or with overlapping speakers, so treat the AI summary as a helpful first draft rather than a verbatim record for anything important. It’s also worth checking your local laws and workplace policies on recording conversations and getting consent from participants before you use it in meetings.
Verdict
For anyone who sits in back-to-back meetings and hates manual note-taking, this is a genuinely useful shortcut – just double check important details rather than trusting the AI summary blindly.
