Overview

The BOYA BY-M1 is a clip-on omnidirectional lavalier microphone — the small mic you see clipped to a shirt collar in interviews and talking-head video. Omnidirectional means it picks up sound evenly from every angle around it rather than needing to be pointed at your mouth, which makes it far more forgiving than a shotgun or desk mic if you move your head while talking.
