Search each UK auction site
The eBay results above come live from eBay’s official API. Every other button opens that auction site’s own search in a new tab. We don’t copy or store any listings, and we’re not part of any of these sites. Always read the auction’s terms, buyer’s premium and fees before you bid.

How to use the World Transport Guide
- Type what you’re looking for, such as a phone model, car, piece of furniture or watch.
- See the live eBay UK auctions ending soonest, with the current bid and time left. Tap one to open it on eBay.
- Narrow the list with a type of auction, like Cars & vehicles or Property, or leave it on Everything.
- Tap Search next to a site. Its results open in a new tab.
- Check the buyer’s premium, fees and collection or delivery on the lot page before you bid.

Why search auctions this way?
UK auctions are spread over dozens of websites. Returns and end-of-line stock sit on John Pye and i-bidder, industrial and business lots on BidSpotter, antiques and jewellery on the-saleroom, and cars on Copart, BCA and Wilsons. Each one has its own search box. This page saves you typing the same thing six times.
Before you bid
- Add the fees: the buyer’s premium, VAT and any internet fee can add a quarter or more to the hammer price.
- Check the condition notes: many lots are returns, untested or sold as seen.
- Plan collection: many auction lots must be collected within a few days, or delivered for a fee.
Frequently asked questions
What does the UK Auction Finder do?
You type what you want once. It shows live eBay UK auctions for it straight away, and gives you a ready-made search on each other UK auction site: John Pye, i-bidder, BidSpotter, the-saleroom and Copart. Sites without a search link, like the property auction houses and trade car auctions, open on their home page so you can browse them.
Does it show prices or bids?
For eBay, yes. You see up to 12 live eBay UK auctions ending soonest, with the current bid, the number of bids, postage and the time left, fetched from eBay’s official API when you search. Bids change fast, so always check the listing on eBay before you bid. For the other auction sites, the lots, prices and end times are on the site itself, which opens in a new tab.
Is it free?
Yes. There is no sign-up and nothing to pay. You only pay the auction site if you win something, including its buyer’s premium and any fees.
What is a buyer’s premium?
Most auction houses add a percentage on top of the winning bid, often 15% to 30% plus VAT, and sometimes an internet bidding fee too. Check the fees on the lot page before you bid, so you know the real price.
Can anyone bid on car auctions?
Not always. Copart UK sells mostly salvage and insurance vehicles and has its own rules about who can bid, and BCA and Manheim are mainly for motor-trade buyers. Wilsons and Brightwells sell to the public. Check each site’s registration rules.
Which auction sites are included?
eBay UK (auction listings only), John Pye Auctions, i-bidder, BidSpotter, the-saleroom, Copart UK, Wilsons Auctions, Brightwells, BCA, Manheim UK, and the property auctioneers Auction House UK, Allsop, Savills Auctions and iamsold.
Why is my favourite auction site missing?
We only add a site once we have checked that its search works with a link. Tell us through the contact page and we will look at it.
